BROKKESTEMMEN

From Sira, the trail goes to Brokkestemmen under the railway tracks at the store at Sira and up the Prestevegen where you’ll find an old but well-preserved settlement. Take a right turn after 350 m, down over a small bridge and beyond the tractor trail through the open meadow. After the bridge, the trail climbs up to Brokkestemmen along the route to the old Bakke Elektrisitetsverk.

This is an easy hike, taking about 30 minutes each way. From the railway bridge it is 1.4 km to Brokkestemmen with a 120 m climb in elevation.

Parking: The swimming area at Sira has good parking.
