Barnevandrerstien

Barnevandrerstien (The Child Wanderer Path) has open terrain as well as woodlands, marshes and beautiful mountain streams. It goes between Snartemo and Årlia in Kvinesdal and is 11 km. The two km closest to Snartemo are mostly on the road. 

The height difference from Snartemo to the highest point is about 350 m.
West of Snartemo, Barnevandrerstien rises upward past Mydland gard, along the beautiful Hellevatnet and down to Konsmo. This stretch is 18 km, with an aproximate 250 m altitude difference from Snartemo and up to Mydland.

Barnevandrerstien continues over Laudal, Nodeland, Kristiansand, and Birkeland to Landvik near Grimstad. There’s also plenty of nice accommodations along the way.
