There are many trails in Hamreheia, Hamvrevarden is the most popular tourist destination here. Starting from the settlement at Åmotsmarka Barnehage, you first go up the road to Hamre, and then enter the tractor road further up into Hamreheia. Here you will find several crossings, where you can go for a tour or just to some of the viewpoints. There are also several leftovers after mining at Mellomheia. The cairn itself is 366 meters above sea level. From Åmotsmarka, the increase is 280 m.
