SKULDRA

Short tour of the coastal island between Austad and Epledal with good views.

The trail follows old farm roads along old stone walls and up on the open Skuldra hill area. Here you can see the Grønsfjord and westwards towards the town of Farsund. At the very beginning of the trail there are two rather intact «jorplehus» – a root cellar. On the tour you also see remains (stone walls) of a house from old days.

The trip is signposted and marked.

Distance: The whole round is 2.5 km.
Rating: The path is of medium difficulty.
Access: From Lyngdal, drive towards Korshavn and exit towards Epledal. After 1 km, one way up to the right. 250 meters into this road, the trail goes to the right.
