DONSEN TIL KVINEN
Start Location:
From Tjørhom you drive towards Solheim to Flesebekk and from here on the gravel road 2,5 km to Donsen. Park in the big parking lot where the road ends.
Tour description:
The path to Kvinen begins at the parking lot at Donsen at the end of Solheimsdalen. From here you follow the marked path to the eastern direction, across the Taddaksknuten where you get a magnificent view of Tjørhom, Sinnes and Hønedalen. Further easy-to-go terrain through an area where sheep graze on, past litle and large Haugevatnet, Omstjødn and Mjåvatn. By a path cross that is signposted you continue along a hill in the eastern direction, until you reach a small hill where you descend towards Kvivatnet and Kvinen.
The large tourist cabin on Kvinen is closed but is planned to be remodeled in the autumn of 2018. A smaller cabin is ready and ready for use per. October 2017.
