Start Location: The trip starts from the parking lot at Tveidebrekka in Hunnedalen.
Tour description:
Cross the bridge at Tverråni and continue on the marked path up Tveidebrekke to 800 meters above sea level. Calculate about 30 minutes to the top where you get to a pond as you walk around so you get this on your right hand. The terrain flattens and you continue on the left hand side. After about 15 minutes you will pass between two ponds. Here is also a small cabin. At the end of the ponds you start at a moderate elevation up to 845 meters. From here you have a great view of the valley that crosses you in front of you. The trail turns southeast under the mountain peak at 917m, towards Øydevatn. From Øydevatn you continue along the water edge and further up a gap before the terrain flares out and you reach a height from which you look down to Djupevatn. Go down the valley towards Djupevatn. At a small pond, you turn around a small mountain in the southwest direction to Tomannsbu Tourist Lodge.
