HILLEKNUTEN
– 1209 meters above sea level

The trail up to the Hilleknuten follows the ski slope almost to the top before it turns left and passes Svartopstjødna. This small lake is used for the production of artificial snow to the ski center in winter. Hilleknuten is 1209 meters above sea level and provides an unobstructed view in all directions. Yet this peak is only the 18th highest peak in Sirdal, which also has the 25 highest peaks in Vest-Agder county. From Hilleknuten you can continue to hike down Jogledalen. This is a longer route, but not as steep.

Getting there: From Sinnes, continue north to Fidjeland, parking by the ski center.
