KLOVSTEINEN

Klovsteinen is a natural phenomenon on the hill east of Tonstad. It is located near an old road from Tonstad to Ovedal.

To get to the starting point of the trip, drive from Tonstad city center and up Høgåsveien past the power station. At the end of the road starts the marked trail. The trail is easy. At first, the trail goes near the mountain edge.

From the parking lot to the Klovstein, the distance is 1.8 km. If you go further 1 km you reach Ovedalsgruva. From the mine it is 1,5 km down to Ovedal.

Ovedal mine:
Three shafts are registered in the area, a horizontal hunt and two other partially refilled shafts. In addition, there are a number of small breakages. Fundamentals after three buildings are near the main hunt.
