The wharf is located on the western side of the fjord Framvaren. A thousand years ago this location was important for the Vikings who went ashore here. They pulled their boat across to Eidsfjorden/Sigervoll on the other side of the Lista peninsula to escape the dangerous sea.
Facilities: Stone wharf, boat ramp, floating dock and mooring buoys. Benches and trail south on the hill. Boat towing to Sigersvoll. The tractor towing service is open in Summer and offers an alternative to sailing around the peninsula Lista. See separate webpage for the service (link båttrekk). The low floating dock is suitable for kayaks. There is a parking lot a short walking distance from the wharf. The boat ramp is open to the public.
There is a threshold at the southern end of Framvaren that secures calm and clear water.
