THE HARBOUR SANDØYHAMN

Recreational area on the southeastern side of the hilly island Skarvøy. Historically oak timber was transported from the island to Denmark and Holland in the 1500-1600s. The timber was used for construction and to build dikes.

Facilities:
Stone wharf and wooden dock. Farsund Dive Club manage the house. Embarkation is suitable at the designated areas. Hike to the viewpoint and enjoy the scenery of this island that was deserted in the 1960s.
