SIGERSVOLL BY EIDSFJORDEN

An historically significant area once used by the Vikings to relocate their ships from Eidsfjorden to Listeid to avoid the rough sea around the Lista Peninsula. Today it is a recreational area next to the road FV652 at Eidsfjorden. The bay is suitable for shelter and the solid wharf is great for disembarkation.

Facilities:
Stone wharf, floating dock, boat ramp, benches, toilet, garbage disposal. A nice area that is sheltered. Sigersvoll is connected to the boat towing service (link) where boats are transported in Summer by tractor 2 km over land to Listeid.
