DÅTLANDSTRAND IN HIDRASUNDET

Located in the Coastal Park Area (Skjærgårdsparken) on the mainland opposite of Hidra. There is a hiking trail to the farmstead Li (Gården Li) that is part of the Norwegian Trekking Association’s (DNT) cabins (for rental). The farmstead is located 70 meters above sea level right under the mountain «Kongsfjell» (King’s Mountain). There is an old burial ground on top of the mountain. The old farms at Kleppa and Dåtland are close by. There is an extensive possibility of hiking trails, and a hike north to the parking at Fidsel takes about one hour.

Facilities:
Stone wharf and stern-to mooring. Benches and barbecue coal grill. Kayaks for rent for people staying at Li. Toilet.
